Iconic but milked?
I vividly remember buying Lil the box of postcards for her birthday during our GCSEs, or roughly around that time. Postcards - So is McCurry suffering the over-exposure of the likes of the Impressionists? Is he verging on the biscuit tin photographer? Sean O'Hagan puts forward a strong argument against this in the Guardian Weekend.
