Dressed as a 1920s tennis player...

Antwerp 1920, Olympic tennis star - Suzanne Lenglen

Macaulay and Anna

Swell jumper and kicks.

Channing Tatum and Charlyne Yi - Dirty Dancing

Oh I LOLed when Ella posted this on her Facebook today. Rest in peace Swayz; we're not laughing at you, we're laughing indirectly at you. Much love Swivel Hips.

ASOS: I may have changed my opinion on you...

Stripes AND asymmetric hemlines.

Olive - big this A/W.

Staple knitted dress.

Makeup Tutorial

I'm glad I'm not the only one who gormlessly leaves their mouth open when applying eye makeup.

Another finale...

Awww man, I've finished another series, Boardwalk Empire. What do I do now? Actually socialise and leave Southville? Or I could just watch My So-Called Life or Freaks and Geeks for the countless time, they never get old.

I've seen Steve Buscemi in a new light. A light that's no longer tinged with fear and slight repulsion (ie. Ghost World). Hmmmm.

How to Shop at a Thrift Store+ Haul

Possibly the most unhelpful 'tips'... State the bleeding obvious. I love her ANYWAYZ.

Speaking of Scarlett

I love this image of her, dressed as Buster Keaton for W Magazine, she looks completely unrecognisable.

Scarlett Johansson and Mango

I really want this dress but I can't find it online. Où il est?

My dream:

Beauty and the Beast - Floor to ceiling books. Yum

The Lawson/Saatchi library -  the real-life Beauty and the Beast? Ha.

F.A.F.

Practically my ideal man.

I've seen One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest before but for some reason I have absolutely no recollection of it. I have a sneaking suspicion I may have been drunk when I watched it; needless to say it's not recommended viewing when in such a state, I CAN TELL YOU THAT FOR FREE.

Dot to dot to dot to dot...

The line-up isn't great, I only want to see Braids. But come and visit our wee little stall outside Thekla. I like visitors.

Granny Aspirations

MINYAZAVOOT HANNAH. See I'm fluent in Russian.
Vintage padded headscarf. Amazers, if a little mental.

Or Dirty R'n'B?

Options.

Gangsters: Just my type.

This Is England's Stephen Graham as Al Capone

Steve Buscemi as Nucky Thompson, based on the real-life Nucky Johnson

Michael Stuhlbarg as Arnold Rothstein

Say it like it is...

Fast Car - Tracy Chapman

I didn't know this was back in the charts?! (The power of reality TV). This really reminds me of that summer when Vicky and I were 18, aimlessly driving around Bristol. Oh to be young and carefree.

Practical:

Cannot for the life of me remember where I saw this. A witty blog nonetheless.

Kenzo Inspired...

I just love central heating.

HUSH

Unexplained Cinema
Motel now has its brand new stock of R&R (recently renamed Motel Vintage), and in the delivery arrived these Azalia babies. The delicate florals and pastel palette SCREAMED Kenzo so I had to purchase them. Surprise surprise.
