The Twist and Turns

I'm getting ahead of myself, I'm already thinking about next Spring and what it has to bring. Going by Roksanda below, turbans are still very much a crucial trend for early 2012. It's not surprising as they easily translate between eras and can be worn with just about anything... whether you will, well that's another thing.

1960s handmade shift dress from Shop on Christmas Steps (bought in 2007).

Ah yes, these fellas. I got them back in 2008 from Priceless Shoes(!). For some reason Kate Kuba did a range for the shop... Unsurprisingly they were super cheap but they've lasted.

Turtle necks, mini skirts, shift dresses, bold florals, accordian pleats, saturated palettes, chunky heels, fake furs and bouffant hair. That's about it really.

Topshop Boutique - I've always loved this jumper dress. Bought this back in 2007 during the January sales.

Forget gold and black. This winter is all about mixing gold with colours from a similar tonal palette... bright yellows, creams and beiges to give an almost Greek goddess effortlessness.
