On an Antwerp radio
station, the avant-garde Belgian
choreographer Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker
accused Beyoncé of copying the moves from her experimental ballet "Rosas Danst
Rosas" (1983). "I'm not mad, but this is plagiarism," De Keersmaeker told
Studio Brussel during an interview. "This is stealing."
But not only that, I've noticed a striking simialarity with Prada's Spring/Summer 2011 campaign video and now one of the most recognisable and sought after accessories from the Summer season... the striped wide-brimmed hat. Coincidence, I think not.

Edgar Degas, famed for the Little Dancer Aged Fourteen, but who knew that he was such an avid photographer? During the later years of his life when his eyesight was failing him, the artist turned to the camera to express his intrigue and love for the freedom and movement of the human form.

Ella very kindly got Lauren and I free tickets to see Matthew Bourne's Cinderella, not the most conventional of ballets what with it being set in the Second World War, with its MANY sexual references and gay romances, and actual lip action - not speaking but KISSING. It's unheard of. Cinderella was the first ever ballet I saw at the mere age of 6 and this is definitely not how I remembered it... Though the choreography, set pieces and humour were amazing I yearned for a bit of point work but it never came.

Black Swan
Finally I have seen it. I always wanted to be a ballerina; I knew you had to put a lot in to it and that it's a very controlled, disciplined art but it's really not worth losing your mind over. Go on, go out for a few drinks.
