Oh my days... A Spike Jonze short film set in one of my favourite bookshops! It's a collaboration with Olympia Le-Tan in which her embroidered clutch bags come to life as their novels. As Le-Tan puts it - "It's such a beautiful and romantic place... The perfect setting for our story!"

Awww look at it... taken back in 2008. I bought a beautiful edition of Simone de Beauvoir's Memoirs of a Dutiful Daughter.

Mid-week Shakespearean Soirée

Tomorrow all of us at Motel are going to see Lily performing, as part of the Hecate Theatre Company, in an all-female cast version of Twelfth Night - set in the nightclubs of the 1930s. It promises a live band, gangsters and amazing costumes! Break a leg Lil!
