| Both from Motel, a vintage top... originally thought to be a scarf until I found the head and arm holes. And a tiny vintage red satchel, found whilst sorting through the sale bags. Absolute treats. |

What struck me was the uncanny likeness to Magritte's The Son of Man work. The now iconic motif of the dark sillouette of a bowler hat-wearing, suited and booted middle class gent is clearly an aesthetic influence even though it wouldn't have been executed until a good 30 years after the series is set. So why Magritte? I'll tell you once I actually get a chance to watch an episode. But it already intrigues me.
