Motel Vintage 1940s polka dot dress.

It's not really visible here but the fabric has a subtle underlying paisley print.
Polka dots are the epitome of femininity - playful and girlish (think Minnie Mouse!), but also chic and timeless. They compliment the tailored, hour-glass silhouette of the 1940s but also the beatnik, shift-wearing 1960s, both of which are main trend staples for the autumn season.
