Marzipan Yourself...

Chloe's Arnolfini stewards immortalised in marzipan, Katherine was the lucky recipient of this not-so-Secret Santa. They were incredible. I'm the one with the bun and red lips.

Choked by Breakfast

Ron English 's Short Shelf Life project in an American supermarket, in which he replaced several cereal boxes with his 'adapted' versions. The question is, how many unwittingly bought Sugar Frosted Fat (look how overweight Terry is!)? Oh wait, people consciously do it every day... and that's not exclusive to Americans. (via Juxtapoz)

Laduree Patisserie

Constance Jablonski by Henrique Gendre, Vogue Brazil (via Fashion Gone Rogue)
Seeing this shoot instantly reminded me of the Laduree macaroon treats I bought when I last visited Paris. Along with the traditional counter-service and the impeccable window displays they create very cute illustrated merchandise and gift boxes. I would have absolutely loved this place as a child - it's slightly reminiscent of a Sylvanian Families shop interior with its very own little animal characters.

Caffe Sazz or Caffe Absolutely Mental

BIRTHDAY GAL.

To celebrate young Lozzer's birthday we ventured just down the road to North Street's Caffe Sazz. As soon as we set foot in the restaurant we felt as if we were on holiday... Euro Trash styleeee. Luckily we'd just finished our main course when they decided to spring on us the most 'eclectic' melody of songs (from Madness and Grease to the Macarena and an extended version of Happy Birthday for the neighbouring party, with shout-outs from the bar-tending, apple-eating DJ). To accompany this rollercoaster aural adventure we were given authentic Turkish head attire to wear whilst seat-dancing. All-in-all I would happily go every single night for ever more. SEREFE!

How I imagined myself.

But the actual reality after eating all that food.

Canapés

Ah yes, another preview night. This time at a new bar, The Botanist, off of Berkeley Square. Not a place I would normally frequent, I prefer my watering holes to be more RAW and GRIMY but this was nice for a change. The general clientele was 30-something banker/unstylish Rah, so we felt a little out-of-place being just Motel girls. The major highlights were the free Mojitos, Crabbies ginger beer, pink champagne and the fish ' n' chip canapes. Having said this, these bite-sized versions of the British classic reminded me of working those dreaded Private Views at the Serpentine, being looked down upon and treated like shit is something I'm quite willing to forget. It's just a shame they ran out of Martin Miller's Gin to aid this memory lapse.

Yes.
