India Song

I watched this today (now yesterday, it's dead-on midnight), Marguerite Duras' 1975 film India Song. It's an unnerving, disjointed tell of obscure love. That's all I could tell you about it really... OBSCURE is the word. The actors are speechless with narration (if you can call it that) coming from the French voiceover, and half the time this throws you off even further as the importance reveals itself in the silence, and what isn't being said. It is far from linear but by digressing in all directions it keeps your attention.
